Dabbing is much different from smoking. Much of the same truths carry over, except the ones I will highlight in this article.
First, the rush is alot more intense. With smoking, it’s like, “Oh, cool. I’m high.” With dabs, sometimes you need to be sitting down, especially if it is an unusually large dab. Like anything, it can be done in moderation, but it is sort of a sport to take it overboard. I don’t think I will ever do it, but below is a video of guys dropping a whole gram of wax, which would hold most people over for 2-4 weeks, depending on use.
I find dabbing to be better than smoking for a few reasons:
- on the overall, it’s cheaper
- you definitely get more therapeutic benefits
- it’s easier on the lungs and stomach, since it is a vaporizer
As the dab hits the bloodstream in about 2-3 minutes, the rush comes. It will either be a head rush, body rush, or a mix (hybrid)…all depending on which material used to create the wax. Sometimes, with dabs, I see double, or like layers. I am not sure how to describe it. It’s like another plane of “high,” and it is really nice for people who have fostered a serious tolerance.
Dabbing will get more prevalent and normalized as drug policy reform continues to sweep the nation. It’s only a matter of time at this point, and I look forward to it, and I hope that you do, too.
