Freedom [Writer]

Something I am growing tired of is people telling me what to do. On the real, I signed my name on the dotted line to die for this country when I was only 16 years old. My parents had to sign along with me. I went into the Delayed Entry Program for the Navy, and I love all branches of service, but the Navy will have a special place in my heart.

Even as I go to the VA, the doctors try to chide me for my drinking and cannabis use, but my blood tests keep coming back healthy, and I keep passing my drug tests. I think it is really funny. The only way they catch me is I admit it, and I admit it openly. Better yet, I tell them I have no intention of stopping, and I don’t need any help with my “addiction.” You see, there is a difference between “use” and “addiction.” On both substances, I use them, but I am not addicted. This is the truth.

You see, I want to run for office one day, and I don’t want to do that building a foundation of lies. This is why this country is in the shape it’s in. It’s tough to watch. I am growing less OK with sitting in silence. Make no mistake. I am pissed. But that’s why I write. It is a much better outlet than some outlets I could think of.

I am tired about these lectures regarding victimless crimes. If a person is not harming another person, then they should be able to do what they want, especially if they are a veteran; however, I signed the dotted line to ensure that you have the same freedom. Keep it simple. Don’t break into my home. Don’t steal from me. Don’t try to harm my wife, family or any of my friends, and there will be no problems. In fact, you may find out that alot of people are really awesome people! You might even find that some are Christians…and raving Anarchists. These two things do not conflict — quite the contrary.

That’s all I wanted to say on this subject. As a former Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class for the US Navy, I am being tired of someone telling me what to do. I am also tired of authority telling other people what to do, not just me. Liberty is not something that we should dispense with for the sake of security. My dad taught me to defend myself from an early age. The only people I have been unable to stop is authoritarians — professional or recreational ones — gossips, and liars. Well, this is why I blog, so you will know the truth. I consider myself a Freedom Fighter Writer. Wagen, over and out.
